John Ropoulos
John received a B.A. from St. John’s College (SJC), a Western Great Books school, in Annapolis, MD. While attending SJC, he converted to Islam and subsequently matriculated into Zaytuna College. He received another B.A. in Islamic Law and Theology in 2016. He then traveled to Egypt, Turkey, and Mauritania to continue his Arabic and Islamic studies. After three years of traveling, he returned to Zaytuna for the Master’s in Islamic Texts in Theology and Philosophy, completing his M.A. in 2022.
Ayesha Darab
Ayesha graduated from Zaytuna College’s B.A. in Islamic Law and Theology in 2016. She then studied Arabic and Islamic sciences abroad in Cairo, Egypt for approximately three years. Upon returning to the U.S., she matriculated into Zaytuna’s Master’s in Islamic Texts in Theology and Philosophy. She graduated in 2022.
